GFC Rangers Roy Fortenberry, Aaron Reichard, Blake Melton, and Levy Rentz have returned from fighting wildfires in Texas. According to Mark Wobus, Regional Fire Coordinator with Texas Forest Service, "We were proud of 'The Georgia Boys' for their great work and assistance to the citizens of Texas." The reason: When the GFC Rangers were diverted to the Silver Heels fire which threatened a community south of Big Springs, TX, they went behind the garage of a home and saw that the underside of the eaves was on fire. They mitigated the fire with water and foam-a direct save! GFC is proud of our ‘Georgia Boys’ too!
